Carla's Dukkah Spice is our own take on the classic Egyptian spice.
Dukkah is a traditional Egyptian spice blend, made from a combination of toasted nuts, seeds and spices. Traditionally served with olive oil and fresh bread, it is also used as an aromatic coating for fish, chicken or lamb before grilling.
Our Dukkah Spice does not include nuts so that nut allergy sufferers are safe to use, but we recommend (if you can) adding chopped toasted nuts for a wonderful crunch and to balance out the spice. Alternatively, use chickpeas or similar.
Makes a wonderful snack or starter and is very easy to prepare.
