Chicken Bhuna Curry

Bhuna is a style of cooking, where the spices are fried in oil before the meat or vegetables are added. Contains no allergens, salt or sugar. Works well with meat or veg curries.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Carla's Bhuna Blend

  • 3 tbsp oil

  • 2 white onions

  • 600-800g chicken breast diced (or 1 butternut squash, 2 courgettes, 3 sweet potatoes diced).

  • 1 jar of passata

Instructions

  1. Mix half a packet of Carla’s Bhuna Blend with 3 tbsp oil of your choice and heat in the frying pan for 3-4 minutes. 

  2. Add 2 sliced onions and cook until soft.

  3. Add  600-800g diced chicken breast or other vegetables of your choice. Cook on high for 5 mins and then add a jar of passata and more spice blend if you wish. 

  4. Cook on a medium heat for 25-30 minutes. Make sure chicken/vegetables are fully cooked before serving.
