Chicken Bhuna Curry
Bhuna is a style of cooking, where the spices are fried in oil before the meat or vegetables are added. Contains no allergens, salt or sugar. Works well with meat or veg curries.
1 packet Carla's Bhuna Blend
3 tbsp oil
2 white onions
600-800g chicken breast diced (or 1 butternut squash, 2 courgettes, 3 sweet potatoes diced).
1 jar of passata
Mix half a packet of Carla’s Bhuna Blend with 3 tbsp oil of your choice and heat in the frying pan for 3-4 minutes.
Add 2 sliced onions and cook until soft.
Add 600-800g diced chicken breast or other vegetables of your choice. Cook on high for 5 mins and then add a jar of passata and more spice blend if you wish.
Cook on a medium heat for 25-30 minutes. Make sure chicken/vegetables are fully cooked before serving.
